Mangaluru: Prem Kumar Lobo, a well-known Konkani singer, conducted the devotion of the ‘Way of the Cross’ at Saint Anthony’s Ashram, Jeppu on Palm Sunday.
He was assisted by a group of singers. The theme of the devotion was ‘with Mary let us walk the way of the Cross of Jesus’.
Fr. Onil D’Souza, director of the Ashram, in his message said the devotion of the Way of the Cross should help us live a life of the Cross.
“Jesus said, ‘If any one wishes to follow me let him take up his cross and follow me’. Let the devotion of the ‘Way of the Cross’ inspire us to live a life of Cross. Let us try to live it and ask God to help us to do the same,” he said.
Fr. Francis D’Souza and Fr. Peter Gonsalves were present. Vincent Mascarenhas, the Diocesan Media Secretary and Stanly Bantwal were thanked for their co-operation in organizing the devotion.
