Presiding over the closing ceremony of the Tulvere – Elato – Sarayu Sapthao here at the Tulu Bhavan Sirichavadi, he said Yakshagana is a marvelous piece of art that retains the audience throughout the night, enriching the intellectual and mental knowledge of the artist and audience.
Kamaladevi Prasad Aasranna blessed the gathering. MLA Y Bharat Shetty greeted. District Kannada Sahitya Parishad president Pradeep Kalkur praised the teamwork of Sarayu.
At the closing ceremony, Yakshagana artiste Haribhat Krishnapura Krishnabhat Devakan were honored with the Yaksha Sarayu title.
Harikrishna Punaru, Madhusudana Alevuraya Varkadi, Purnima Prabhakar Rao Pejavar, Ramesh Tantri D and Chetak Poojary, Purushottam Poojary and others were present.
