Haveri: Tragedy struck in Hirekerur town, Haveri district, when a tree fell on two bikers, killing them instantly. The victims, Manjunath (35) and Hanumanthappa (25), were employees of Hescom (Hiralal Energy Services Company) in Hirekerur.
The incident occurred when the two were riding to the Hescom office after lunch. The tree suddenly fell on them, causing fatal injuries. Manjunath, a resident of Chinnamulugunda village, and Hanumanthappa, from Yattinahalli village, died at the scene.
Hirekerur police rushed to the spot and are investigating the incident. The unexpected accident has shocked the community, and condolences are pouring in for the families of the deceased.
