Hotel Worker Murdered in Manipal: Investigation Underway
A 35-year-old hotel employee was tragically murdered in Manipal under unexplained circumstances.
The victim, Sreedhar Kasarkod, was brutally attacked by unknown assailants who struck him in the neck with a beer bottle. The motive behind this horrific crime remains unclear. Authorities believe the attack took place either late last night or during the early hours of the morning.
Udupi Superintendent of Police, Dr. Arun K, along with local Manipal police officers, visited the crime scene to investigate. To assist with the probe, dog squads and Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) teams are expected to arrive soon.
The investigation is ongoing, and the police are working diligently to uncover more details about the tragic incident. At this stage, no further information has been made available, but authorities are committed to solving the case.
