12-Year-Old Student Dies Mysteriously at Delhi School

A Class 6 student from southwest Delhi’s private school, identified as Prince, passed away under unclear circumstances on Tuesday morning, the police reported. Prince, a resident of Kudumpur Pahari, Vasant Vihar, was declared brought dead at Fortis Hospital, Vasant Kunj, at 10:15 am.

Authorities suspect the child may have suffered a seizure. A police statement noted no visible injuries but mentioned foam-like discharge from his mouth. Doctors suggested a possible convulsion-related condition, though investigations are ongoing. Classmates and school staff are being questioned, and legal steps will follow as required.

Prince’s father, Sagar, a sewer worker, refuted the medical theory, asserting his son had no history of health issues. “He was perfectly healthy, actively playing football, and winning school-level tournaments. This incident raises doubts,” Sagar said. Allegedly, other students disclosed that Prince had an altercation with a peer before collapsing, after which teachers rushed him to the hospital.

The boy was initially admitted to Holy Angels Hospital and then referred to Fortis, where he was pronounced dead. Sagar added, “I dropped him at school in good health. At 9:45 am, I was informed he was hurt. By the time I reached, it was too late.”

Prince’s uncle questioned the absence of staff during the incident. The family demands transparency and accountability as investigations proceed.
