15-year-old boy bludgeons, stabs brother over PUBG

Thane: In a shocking incident, a 15-year-old boy in Thane’s Bhiwandi beat his brother’s head against a wall and repeatedly stabbed him with scissors on Sunday, June 30 morning. Allegedly, the boy did this in retaliation when he was scolded for playing PUBG.

According to senior police inspector Mamata D’souza, the boy grew angry when the victim, his brother Mohammad Shaikh (19) asked him to stop playing the game on his mobile phone.

The victim was immediately rushed to the hospital where he was declared brought dead.

A case has been registered under section 302 (punishment for murder) of the Indian Penal code (IPC).
