A 16-year-old intermediate first-year student from the MPC stream died by suicide on Monday afternoon in Annojiguda, Pocharam IT Corridor area. The student was found in an unfortunate condition and was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was declared dead.
The Pocharam IT Corridor police are currently investigating the matter.
Following the incident, mild tension prevailed at the college, with family members and student organizations staging a protest on the premises.
