Guwahati: A 23-year-old youth named Pramesh Debabrama, who worked in a hotel In Mysuru was arrested for his anti-national video that was posted on Facebook, supporting the terrorist of Pulwama attack, here on Sunday, February 24.
A suo-moto complaint was filed by the Champoura police on the FB post.
It is also now known that Pramesh had posted the derogatory video on February 14, soon after the Pulwama attack.
Under the guidance of DGP Tripura, a team had landed to Mysuru in search of Pramesh.
He was later arrested from the hotel and produced before the court in the city for transit remand.
As per the initial stages of interrogation, he has confessed the crime.
According to Assam cabinet minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, around 19 similar cases have been registered till date.
