New Delhi: Chilling footage has surfaced showing the targeted killing of 26-year-old Aman inside a Burger King outlet in West Delhi’s Rajouri Garden. The video reveals the gruesome nature of the attack at the well-known fast-food restaurant.
Aman was sitting with a woman, who was displaying a picture on her phone, when the incident occurred. At 9:41 PM, the first gunshots rang out. Two men seated behind Aman drew their pistols and shot him in the back.
The gunfire caused immediate panic among the patrons, who fled the restaurant in terror. Aman ran towards the billing counter, pursued by the assailants dressed in orange and white shirts. They shot him multiple times at point-blank range, with one of the shooters even climbing onto the counter to fire additional shots.
Remarkably, the woman sitting with Aman appeared unaffected by the chaos and calmly walked out of the establishment. Within less than a minute, the Burger King outlet was completely deserted.
According to the FIR, a total of 38 bullets from three different types of firearms were fired at Aman Joon inside the fast-food outlet on Tuesday night. The variety of bullets suggests that more than two weapons were involved in the attack.
Aman’s body was found behind the billing counter, indicating he tried to escape as the shooting began. Burger King staff reported that the assailants seemed to be between 25 and 30 years old.
Police suspect that the murder may have been a revenge act related to a 2020 killing in Haryana, pointing to gang rivalry as a possible motive. This shocking incident has heightened concerns about the law and order situation in the capital.
Reports suggest that the woman who accompanied Aman to Burger King may have lured him there. Police are investigating her involvement in the crime, noting her criminal background, and efforts are underway to locate her. She left the scene with Aman’s phone and wallet.
Fugitive gangster Himanshu Bhau, believed to be currently in Portugal, has claimed responsibility for the murder in a social media post. A police officer informed PTI that authorities suspect his involvement. In his post, Himanshu Bhau alleged that Aman was implicated in the murder of “our brother” Shakti Dada, and this killing was an act of revenge. He issued warnings to others connected to the incident, stating their “turn will come soon.”
Known for his extortion activities, Himanshu Bhau operates within Delhi and Haryana and is associated with jailed gangster Neeraj Bawana. He fled the country in 2022.
