8-year-old boy drowns in stream near home in Kasaragod

In a heart-wrenching incident from Banthiyod in Kasaragod district, an eight-year-old boy lost his life on Monday after accidentally falling into a stream near his residence.
The deceased child has been identified as Mohammad Sulthan, son of Sadath and Sajira. According to officials from the Kumbla police, the boy had been playing near the stream in front of his house when the accident occurred.
Following an anxious search by locals and authorities, his lifeless body was discovered in the same stream. Police have initiated inquest proceedings, and further formalities are underway.
