New Delhi: A special guest will be joining Arvind Kejriwal for his oath-taking ceremony at Ramlila Maidan on Sunday, February 16. This guest is none other than the one-year-old ‘Baby Kejriwal’, also known as ‘Mini Mufflerman’, whose photo went viral in the midst of the celebrations at the AAP office in Delhi on counting day.
Tweeting the announcement, the official handle of AAP wrote, “Baby Mufflerman is invited to the swearing-in ceremony of Arvind Kejriwal on Feb 16. Suit up, Junior!” Dressed in a small-sized sweater, muffler, and a pair of spectacles, the toddler was adored across the internet for being the perfect miniature version of Kejriwal, complete with mustache and an AAP cap.
Meanwhile, Kejriwal is all set to become the chief minister of Delhi for the third time on February 16 at 10 am.
Sources within the party said that the newly-elected MLAs have been asked to ensure a huge attendance at the ceremony.
It can be recalled that AAP won 62 seats in the 70-member Assembly with the BJP accounting for the remaining 8 and the Congress drawing a blank.
The possible induction of young first-time MLAs Raghav Chadha and Atishi Marlena was a subject of much speculation.
But AAP sources told PTI that the party chief is unlikely to tinker with the existing combination and is set to retain all the incumbent ministers. The sources said the portfolios of the ministers will be decided later.
