In the recent tragic air crash in Ahmedabad, 44-year-old cabin supervisor Shraddha Dhawan lost her life. Shraddha, a native of Mumbai, Maharashtra, was serving with Air India at the time of the accident.
Her husband, Rajesh, who hails from Palakkad, Kerala, has been with Air India since 2005. The couple tied the knot in 2008 in Palakkad and had since been living in Mulund, a suburb of Mumbai.
On the eve of the crash, Rajesh had travelled to Delhi to attend an official training course organized by Air India. The heartbreaking news of his wife’s death reached him during his stay there, delivered through a formal communication from the airline.
Fortunately, their 13-year-old daughter, who had been staying with her maternal relatives in Mumbai at the time, was not involved in the tragedy.
Rajesh is the youngest son of K. Narayanan, a retired Indian Air Force officer. The family, shaken by this irreparable loss, is now surrounded by grief and condolences pouring in from across the aviation community and beyond.
