The death of 25-year-old Air India pilot Srishti Tuli at her Mumbai residence has raised suspicions among her family, who allege foul play and claim she was harassed by her boyfriend, Aditya Pandit. The family has dismissed suicide claims and accused Aditya of manipulation, financial extortion, and abuse.
Aditya, 27, was arrested under abetment to suicide charges after Srishti was found with a data cable around her neck. Police are investigating the case, noting no suicide note was discovered. Aditya reportedly told police that Srishti called him threatening suicide, prompting him to rush back to her flat. Upon arrival, he and another woman pilot summoned a keymaker to unlock the door.
Srishti’s uncle, Vivek Tuli, has accused Aditya of blackmail, public harassment, and jealousy over her career success. The family also suspects another woman pilot’s involvement, questioning her actions in opening the flat without involving the police.
The family, based in Gorakhpur, has demanded a thorough investigation, claiming Srishti’s character and resilience as a pilot make suicide improbable.
