Actor Allu Arjun was granted regular bail by a local court on Friday in relation to the tragic Sandhya Theatre stampede case. His lawyer, Ashok Reddy, confirmed that the court imposed conditions requiring the actor to attend the police station as part of his bail. The court concluded that the case did not amount to culpable homicide not amounting to murder, which led to the decision to grant bail.
Reddy also mentioned that a quash petition is currently pending before the high court, and the next hearing for the case is scheduled for January 21. The legal team plans to take further steps to pursue the petition in the high court.
The stampede occurred in connection with a public event, sparking conversations about the need for better crowd management and accountability from event organizers to prevent such tragedies in the future.
