New Delhi: Meta India on Friday announced the appointment of Aman Jain as its new Head of Public Policy, marking a key leadership addition as the company continues to deepen its engagement with the country’s rapidly growing digital ecosystem. Jain, who brings over two decades of experience in public policy and technology, will assume his role early next year.
With this appointment, Jain will also join Meta India’s leadership team. He will report directly to Simon Milner, Vice President of Policy for the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.

“Aman brings over 20 years of public policy and business strategy experience, with a proven track record at Amazon, Google, the Government of India, and international organisations,” the company said in an official statement.
Jain previously held senior roles at Google India, including Country Head for Government Affairs and Public Policy. His most recent role was at Amazon, where he served as Director of Public Policy, overseeing policy strategy across marketplace operations, competition, and emerging technologies.

He added that Jain’s expertise in navigating policy landscapes will help Meta strengthen its partnerships with regulators, policymakers, and industry stakeholders. Jain will also play a key role in Meta’s APAC Policy leadership.
