A tragic incident occurred in Kyrgyzstan where a 21-year-old medical student, Dasari Chandu, lost his life after being trapped under a frozen waterfall on Monday. Chandu, a second-year MBBS student from Anakapalle, Andhra Pradesh, was among a group of students who visited the waterfall on Sunday. Unfortunately, Chandu became trapped in the ice, leading to the fatal accident.

The news of Chandu’s untimely demise has deeply saddened his family and friends. His parents, devastated by the loss of their son, have sought assistance from Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy to bring Chandu’s body back to Anakapalle. The Union minister has promptly responded to their plea, initiating coordination with Kyrgyzstan officials to facilitate the repatriation process. As per the family’s confirmation, arrangements are underway to transport Chandu’s body back home.

The tragic incident serves as a stark reminder of the risks associated with adventurous outings, especially in treacherous environments like frozen waterfalls. It underscores the importance of safety precautions and vigilance while exploring such natural attractions. As the family mourns the loss of their beloved son, they await the return of his remains to bid him a final farewell.
