This unique method of promoting road safety has caught the attention of many and has also received appreciation from everyone. The tweet has gone viral and even the ‘Badshah of Bollywood’ Shah Rukh Khan appreciated the use of his signature romantic pose of outstretched arms by the Assam Police to create traffic awareness in the state. Responding to the police officer’s tweet, Shah Rukh tweeted yesterday, “the best message I think this pose has conveyed. Please please follow traffic rules.”
The graphic has a silhouette of ‘King Khan’ with one of his outstretched hands holding a placard reading “Traffic niyam ka kripaya palan kare” (please follow traffic rules) and a vehicle with a driver in front. The Assam Police has been using social media to create awareness about social issues and road safety.
