A Bengaluru-based YouTuber has garnered attention for clearing the way for an ambulance stuck at a red light, a move that has sparked a heated debate online. The now-viral video shows the YouTuber on his scooter, noticing an ambulance trapped in traffic due to a gridlock.
Upon seeing the situation, the YouTuber approached a car blocking the ambulance’s path and asked the driver to make way. However, the driver initially refused, citing the red signal. Unwilling to wait, the YouTuber took matters into his own hands, stopping other vehicles on the intersecting road to allow the ambulance to pass safely.
While many social media users praised his quick thinking and timely intervention, others criticized the situation, pointing out flaws in Bengaluru’s traffic management system. Some argued that such a scenario should never have occurred, highlighting the need for a more efficient emergency response system to prevent delays in critical situations.
The YouTuber, however, stood by his actions, saying, “Emergencies don’t wait for signals. We all need to step up when it matters.”
While some hailed him as a hero, others pointed out the ethical dilemma, with one user stating, “Not all heroes wear capes,” while another quipped, “He went in the wrong direction to do the right thing.”
