Bhopal: In a tragic incident, a young woman allegedly took her own life following a dispute with her live-in partner over marriage arrangements in Shahpura area, Bhopal.
Victim identified
The deceased has been identified as Tanya Suryavanshi, daughter of Sahab Lal Suryavanshi. Tanya, who worked at a private hospital, was found hanging at her workplace on Monday morning.
According to police reports, she ended her life late on Saturday night, and her body was handed over to her family after a post-mortem on Sunday. No suicide note was recovered from the scene.
Dispute over living with in-laws
Preliminary investigation reveals that Tanya had been in a live-in relationship with her partner, whose identity has not been officially disclosed. Both families had reportedly agreed to their marriage despite caste differences.
