A touching story from Bihar has captured hearts nationwide, as a young girl’s aspiration to become a doctor was revived thanks to a timely intervention by the Union Education Minister. Khushboo Kumari, a student from Danapur, had her hopes reignited after her emotional appeal on social media caught the attention of Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

Despite securing an impressive 399 out of 500 in her Class 10 exams, Khushboo faced the heartbreak of being denied admission to the science stream. Her parents, holding a 400-mark expectation, insisted she opt for the arts, despite her passion for medicine. In a tearful video, Khushboo shared her frustration, stating that while her brothers were allowed to pursue science, she was denied the same opportunity.

Moved by her story, Minister Pradhan swiftly contacted the district administration and directed them to provide her with the necessary support. He reassured Khushboo through a personal call, encouraging her to focus on preparing for the NEET exam. “Your dream of becoming a doctor will not be stopped,” he said, applauding her perseverance.

The district administration also promised to cover her educational expenses and ensure she would be admitted to the science stream. Overwhelmed with gratitude, Khushboo expressed her joy and renewed determination, declaring, “I will become a doctor someday.”

This inspiring intervention emphasizes the importance of support systems in turning dreams into reality.
