Hyderabad: The case of a missing 14-year-old girl opened up the secret to mysterious death of two other missing girls in Hajipura village of Telangana, which is about 100 kms away from Hyderabad.

The family members of a 14-year-old girl had filed a missing complaint with the Bommalaramaram Mandala police about one week ago. When the police took up the probe, they nabbed a 27-year-old Marri Srinivas Reddy, who confessed to have raped and murdered the teenager. However, what he further revealed to the police left the entire state in shock.
While he revealed that he dumped the body of the teenager in a 50 ft well, he also spoke about having raped and killed two other girls aged 11 and 17 and having dumped their bodies in wells. Skeletal remains of the three girls have been found inside the abandoned wells in the last few days.

The 14-year-old victim was on her way back from school, when Reddy approached her and offered her a lift. He then raped her in an isolated place, murdered her and dumped her body along with her belongings inside a well in his own property. The body of another girl, 17, was buried in the same well. She too, was allegedly sexually assaulted and killed by Reddy in March, the same time since she had been missing. Her identity was ascertained due to the Aadhar card inside her bag. Her parents had not filed any missing complaint assuming that she must have eloped with her partner to live separately.

The modus operandi of the accused was the same in all cases. He offered a lift to the target when they were on their way back home from school and then sexually assaulted them.

The count did not stop here. Parents of an 11-year-old girl who too had gone missing since 2015 approached the police after learning of the developments. Then, the accused admitted to have sexually abused and killed an eleven-year-old girl as well and having disposed her body in a bag and dumped in the well next to his property.

Police found her remains late on Tuesday –and recognized the deceased based on her dress. In this case too, the victim was walking back home from school.

The disturbing details of the three cases has led to outrage among locals. They vandalized the residence of the accused and questioned about the safety of their children.
