The Bombay High Court stated on Friday that the Pune teenager, who was driving his father’s ₹ 2.5 crore Porsche supercar and caused a fatal accident resulting in two deaths, may have been in a state of “shock” following the incident, potentially affecting his mental faculties. The court made these observations while considering a plea by the boy’s aunt, who argued that his arrest, which occurred shortly after the high-speed collision with a motorbike carrying two people, was unjust and unlawful.

The aunt further criticized the police, accusing them of protecting the boy due to his father’s influential status in the city, and claimed they had acted improperly and disregarded legal norms.
