Yoga guru and Patanjali founder Ramdev has blocked US millionaire Bryan Johnson on his X account after Johnson commented on Ramdev’s claims of anti-aging benefits from Patanjali products. On Tuesday, Ramdev shared a video of himself running alongside a horse and promoting Patanjali’s products, claiming they provide anti-aging benefits, enhanced immunity, and strength.
In response, Bryan Johnson, a well-known entrepreneur who has invested heavily in anti-aging research, criticized the air quality in Haridwar, where Ramdev resides. Johnson pointed out that the PM 2.5 levels in the area were dangerously high, equating the pollution to smoking 1.6 cigarettes a day. He also warned that poor air quality increases the risk of heart disease and lung cancer.
Ramdev, who had shared a promotional post about his products, including Swarna Shilajit and Immunogrit Gold, which he claimed could boost immunity and provide anti-aging effects, did not take kindly to Johnson’s comment. The yoga guru blocked Johnson shortly after the critique.
This exchange isn’t the first time Bryan Johnson has spoken out against India’s air pollution. He had previously left a podcast with entrepreneur Nikhil Kamath early due to the poor air quality, claiming it made him feel unwell.
