Chandigarh : Manohar Lal Khattar, the chief minister of Haryana, stated on Sunday that the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, which was started with the goal of making India a developed country and giving the people access to programs quickly, is gaining ground every day.

According to him, the “Modi ki guarantee ki gadi” is developing into a potent tool for ensuring that the average person benefits from schemes.

According to him, it is the duty of the concerned officers to make sure that every government program reaches every citizen.

The Chief Minister convened a meeting with state officials via video conference, and Member of Parliament Nayab Singh Saini also attended.

“We have integrated the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra with the Jan Samvad so that people can benefit from both central and state welfare schemes and also ensure the prompt resolution of their issues and complaints,” the Chief Minister said.

He said that the presence of senior officers from every department should be ensured at the events — organised during the yatra — so that the concerns of the citizens are addressed immediately.

He said that officials up to the rank of sub-divisional officers (SDOs) from the Power Department should be present in the programs to ensure that there are no issues related to electricity.

The Chief Minister also emphasised that garbage heaps should not be visible in cities, and the district administration should ensure this.

“Starting next week, a surprise inspection of the cities should be conducted by the CM’s team or officers. If any garbage is found, appropriate action will be taken in accordance with the rules,” declared the Chief Minister.

The Chief Minister was informed that the number of individuals participating in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra-Jan Samvad in Haryana has surpassed 11.19 lakh, and this figure is growing daily.

Programs are being held throughout the yatra in 51 urban areas and 1,871 gram panchayats, according to an official statement.

“In these programs, people are being informed about government schemes, and applications are being collected from them on the spot. Special attention is also being given to health checkups,” the statement said.
