Aurangabad: Four jawans of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) were killed today in firing by a fellow soldier at the upcoming Nabinagar Super Thermal Power Project in Aurangabad district of Bihar.
The jawan, Balbir Kumar, is believed to have had an altercation with four of his colleagues before he opened fire at them. The altercation, as per police, broke out over the sleeping arrangement at their barrack.
When Balbir Kumar lost his temper he gunned down the four with his service INSAS rifle. The deceased are Amarnath Misra from Darbhanga, Baccha Sharma from Patna, Arvind Kumar from Muzaffarnagar and Gaurishankar Ram from Jharkhand. Kumar, a resident of Aligarh has been arrested.
