Class 10 boy missing after being scolded, last seen in Ghaziabad
A Class 10 student from Mahagun Moderne in Sector 78, Noida, went missing on Sunday morning after reportedly being scolded by his parents. He was supposed to attend private tuition classes in Sector 18, but never reached the centre. When he didn’t return home by 2pm, his father lodged a missing complaint at Sector 113 police station.
The boy, a student of Khaitan Public School, usually travelled to coaching on his own. His mobile phone has been switched off since he left. The father confirmed the boy had not attended class when he checked with the coaching centre later that day.
Police have launched an investigation, scanning CCTV footage and using technical surveillance. Friends told investigators the boy had spoken about wanting to go to Rajasthan. His family circulated his photos on social media, and a tip came in on Monday around 4pm that he was seen in Ghaziabad, though police were unable to find him at the location.
Efforts to trace the boy are ongoing.
