Congress Seva Dal workers carried out a cleanliness drive at Jantar Mantar after the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) ended its 36-day-long agitation over alleged examination irregularities and the NEET paper leak.
The volunteers cleaned the protest site soon after demonstrators vacated the area, marking the conclusion of one of the longest youth-led protests over the examination controversy.
Protest called off after government’s decision
The agitation was called off on Saturday after Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigned and the government accepted the protesters’ other demands, according to organisers.
The movement had centred on allegations of irregularities in competitive examinations, particularly the NEET paper leak, and drew participation from students and youth from across the country.
Cleanliness drive at protest site
Following the end of the protest, Congress Seva Dal workers undertook a cleanliness campaign at Jantar Mantar, removing waste and restoring the area.
Party leaders said the initiative reflected the organisation’s commitment to maintaining public spaces after large gatherings.
