⚠️ Bee attack triggers panic
The deceased, identified as Pilli Veeraswamy, was serving as a constable with the Special Protection Force (SPF) and was on duty at the dam when the incident occurred on Wednesday.
According to sources, a swarm of bees suddenly attacked him, repeatedly stinging him and causing panic.
🏃 Attempt to escape turns fatal
As the attack intensified, Veeraswamy attempted to run to safety. During this effort, he reportedly suffered a heart attack and collapsed.
Despite immediate attempts by those nearby to assist him, he died on the spot.
🩺 Suspected cardiac arrest
Preliminary reports indicate that the panic and physical stress caused by the bee attack may have triggered the cardiac arrest.
Authorities are expected to confirm the exact cause of death following further medical examination.
