New Delhi: Having missed an opportunity to file his nomination papers on Monday after being delayed by his roadshow, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had to wait in a long queue to file his nomination on Tuesday, January 21.

At least 50 independent candidates waited in the queue at the Jamnagar House in Delhi before Kejriwal, to file nominations.

Despite Kejriwal being the CM, he was forced to wait in the queue as none were in the mood to make way for him.

“We will not let Kejriwal enter. He will have no option but to stand in the queue like the rest of us,” said one of the independent candidates.

Arvind Kejriwal, who is AAP’s candidate from New Delhi, was delayed again as he arrived with his family to complete the formalities.

Yesterday, he took out a mega-roadshow on his way to filing his papers.

The Delhi election will be held on February 8 and the results will be declared three days later.
