New Delhi: The Delhi Police is urging commuters to steer clear of Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg as they anticipate a gathering of BJP and AAP workers before the Lok Sabha election results. Both parties have their national headquarters along this route near ITO. “Due to the expected influx of supporters from various political factions at DDU Marg, traffic diversions and restrictions will be enforced at Ramcharan Aggarwal Chowk (ITO Chowk) and DDU Marg. Please heed the advisory,” stated the Delhi Traffic Police. The advisory further noted the possibility of complete closure of DDU road and suggested alternative routes such as Ranjeet Singh Marg, Minto Road, and JLN Marg.
Additionally, party supporters are advised to park their vehicles on Mata Sundari Road, Rajghat Power House Road, and Shanti Van, and proceed to the headquarters on foot.
