Determined PM Prepares for Visit to Lord Ram’s City

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Ayodhya today to inaugurate various projects with a cumulative investment exceeding ₹15,000 crore. Before his visit, the Prime Minister expressed his government’s commitment to constructing world-class infrastructure in the city.Commencing the day’s events at 11:15 am, PM Modi will inaugurate the revamped Ayodhya Railway Station, alongside flagging off new Amrit Bharat and Vande Bharat trains. At 12:15 pm, he will unveil the newly constructed Ayodhya Airport.

In a statement, PM Modi highlighted the government’s dedication to developing top-notch infrastructure, enhancing connectivity, and preserving Ayodhya’s rich heritage. The day will conclude with a public program at 1 pm, during which the Prime Minister will inaugurate and dedicate several development projects collectively valued at over ₹15,000 crore. These initiatives include projects worth ₹11,100 crore dedicated to Ayodhya’s development and additional projects valued at ₹4,600 crore targeting various areas across Uttar Pradesh.

Among the unveiled projects are a medical college, the Ayodhya bypass, a solid waste treatment facility, and five parking and commercial facilities.

Ayodhya has been adorned with flowers, murals, and thematic ornamental columns to welcome the Prime Minister. Massive posters featuring Modi’s images are displayed at key locations, while cut-outs of Lord Ram are placed outside the redeveloped railway station.

Security measures are extensive along the Ram Path to Ayodhya Airport, located approximately 15 km from the main city. Elaborate arrangements have been made for the Prime Minister’s visit, including devotional songs, bell-ringing, and holy chants at temples.

About 1.5 lakh people are expected to gather for the public rally, which will last nearly an hour. The Prime Minister is anticipated to reach Ayodhya airport around 10:45 am, inaugurate the redeveloped railway station, and then the newly-built airport before addressing the public rally. A roadshow is planned during his travel from the airport to the railway station, where he will acknowledge the greetings of the people. Over 1,400 performers will showcase folk art and cultural programs along the route from the airport to the railway station during PM Modi’s visit.
