New Delhi: Police in the national capital reported the tragic death of an ice cream vendor in the vicinity of India Gate. The victim, identified as Prabhakar aged 25, was fatally stabbed, as per authorities.
On Wednesday evening, Delhi Police received reports of a knife attack on the ice cream vendor. Promptly, the police transported the victim to a nearby hospital. Regrettably, despite medical efforts, the victim succumbed to the injuries sustained in the attack.
Initial inquiries by the police indicate that the altercation leading to the stabbing ensued from a dispute. The victim bore three wounds, one of which proved fatal. Furthermore, during the investigation, authorities discovered money and a watch in the victim’s possession.
A case has been filed under section 302, and efforts are underway to locate and apprehend the suspect, who is currently evading capture. Utilizing CCTV footage from nearby establishments, law enforcement has identified the perpetrator, with investigations continuing to bring them to justice.
