Indore:  The Government Railway Police (GRP) found a woman’s body cut into parts on  Dr Ambedkar Nagar-Indore train on Sunday.

The bag containing the dismembered body was noticed by the cleaning workers and they immediately alerted the police.

According to GRP station in-charge Sanjay Shukla said that the victim yet to be identified likely to be murdered somewhere and the miscreants dumped the body on  the train. The victim is in her twenties, he said.

Shukla disclosed that torso, from head to waist, was discovered in a trolley bag within the train, while the lower half of her body was found in a separate plastic bag. Notably, both her hands and legs were missing.

“It is suspected that the woman met her demise elsewhere one or two days prior, following which her remains were surreptitiously placed aboard the train late Saturday night,” Shukla elaborated.
