New Delhi: Dismissed BSF Jawan Tej Bahadur Yadav is yet again in news and this time over an unauthenticated video that has surfaced, which purportedly shows him offering to kill Prime Minister Narendra Modi if someone gives him Rs 50 cr.
The video has gone viral and there is no authentication for the same, yet the BJP has condemned the statement made by the former BSF Jawan, who is now associated with the Samajwadi Party.
Tej Bahadur had expressed his desire earlier to contest Lok Sabha elections from Varanasi against the PM. He first wanted to contest as an independent candidate but was later given ticket by Samajwadi party. But his plans could not materialise as the Returning Officer rejected his candidature as Tej Bahadur had failed to submit a certificate on whether or not he was dismissed from the service for corruption or disloyalty to the government.
Tej Bahadur first hit headlines with a video he made on the poor quality food served to the BSF men.
