In the aftermath of the Pahalgam massacre, security forces have released sketches of three terrorists responsible for the brutal killing of 26 innocent tourists in Jammu and Kashmir. Officials confirmed that the assailants are affiliated with Lashkar-e-Taiba, and at least two are suspected foreign nationals. The attack has been claimed by The Resistance Front, a known proxy of the banned Pakistan-based terror outfit.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah swiftly flew to Kashmir, where he held urgent security discussions with Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was on an official trip to Saudi Arabia, returned immediately upon learning of the tragedy.
Expressing sorrow and resolve, PM Modi stated, “Those behind this monstrous act will be held accountable. Their sinister goals will fail. Our determination to eliminate terror is absolute and unwavering.”
Home Minister Shah paid final respects to the deceased victims and reinforced India’s resolve on social media, writing, “Bharat will never bow to terror. Justice will prevail.”
