Coach composition and capacity
The Sleeper Vande Bharat will consist of 16 coaches, including:
- 11 AC 3-tier coaches
- 4 AC 2-tier coaches
- 1 AC 1-tier coach
The total passenger capacity of the train will be 827, catering to a wide range of travellers across different comfort segments.
Fare and service details
Railway sources indicate that fares are likely to be comparable to Rajdhani Express services, positioning the Sleeper Vande Bharat as a premium yet competitive option for overnight travel.
The train is scheduled to operate six days a week, departing Patna in the evening and arriving in New Delhi the next day, offering a smooth and time-efficient journey.
Big boost for Bihar–Delhi travellers
For residents of Bihar and frequent travellers to the national capital, the video has reinforced that the much-awaited Sleeper Vande Bharat is nearly ready to roll.
