According to reports, five second-year students—all minors—allegedly forced the victim into a hostel room, subjected him to continuous kicking and slaps, and even administered electric shocks using a live wire, amid threats on his life. An outsider is also said to have aided in the attack
The victim’s parents filed a complaint with the police, prompting an immediate inquiry. Authorities have apprehended three of the five accused, and the search for the remaining two is underway . The hostel warden promptly informed local police after learning of the assault
