Two seven-year-old boys, once seen begging on the streets of Nellore due to extreme poverty, are now back in school—thanks to swift action by Andhra Pradesh Education Minister Nara Lokesh. On Monday, the minister personally admitted CH Penchalaiah and V Venkateshwarlu into a local municipal school, marking a heartening turn in their young lives.

Their journey to the classroom began on July 3, when the boys approached Nellore Municipal Commissioner Y O Nandan during a routine school inspection, expressing their heartfelt desire to study. The encounter, which quickly gained public attention, moved officials and citizens alike.

Responding to the plea, Nara Lokesh ensured that the children were not only enrolled but also provided with support to continue their education with dignity.

This act highlights the power of access, compassion, and quick administrative action in transforming lives.
