A sudden gas cylinder blast at a residence in Kannambathur, Puthukkad, on Friday afternoon resulted in injuries to two individuals. The accident took place around 2 pm when a gas leak in the kitchen ignited, causing an explosion.
The injured are identified as Bindu, who lives in the house, and Ashokan, a technician from Vattanathra, who had come to service the gas cylinder. Both sustained burn injuries in the incident.
