Faridabad: A group of individuals reportedly doused Mahesh Panchal, the brother of Cow vigilante Bittu Bajrangi, with a flammable liquid and set him ablaze. The victim, sustaining 54% burns, is currently receiving treatment at a private hospital.
The victim, Mahesh Panchal, identified one of the suspects as Arman, who owns a juice shop in Baba Mandi near the location of the incident. Recounting the horrifying attack, Mahesh informed the police that on Wednesday night, while he was in Baba Mandi, a car carrying five to six men stopped, and they proceeded to assault him. One of the attackers then poured a liquid substance on him and set him on fire. In a desperate attempt to escape, Mahesh jumped into a drain. His brother, Rajkumar, also known as Bittu Bajrangi, rushed him to B K Government Hospital for immediate treatment.

Bittu Bajrangi, the President of Cow Raksha Bajrang Force, had previously been arrested in connection with the Nuh violence but had been granted bail.
Sube Singh, Faridabad Police Spokesperson, stated that the Crime Branch and police station teams are actively investigating the matter. The incident site has been inspected, and CCTV footage is under scrutiny. Singh assured that the individuals involved in the attack will be apprehended soon. An FIR has been registered against Arman and other suspects under Sections 147 (riots), 149 (unlawful assembly), 307 (attempted murder), and 326A (voluntarily causing grievous hurt by acid, etc) of the IPC at the Saran police station in Faridabad.
