Today, April 15, light to moderate rainfall, hail, thunderstorms, and gusty winds are expected over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. Heavy rain or snow is likely in Jammu and Himachal. Similar weather conditions may affect West Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, and Rajasthan.

IMD has issued an orange alert (be prepared) for Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, and Himachal, and a yellow watch (be updated) for Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Delhi on Monday. On Thursday, Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh will be on yellow watch, joined by Himachal, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Delhi on Friday.
