Mumbai: In an unfortunate turn of events, the vice-president of HDFC Bank went missing on the night of September 5 from his Kamala Mills office in Mumbai.

Siddharth Sanghvi (39), reportedly, was last seen leaving from his office at 7.30 pm on Wednesday, September 5 and when he did not return home that night, his family filed a missing person complaint with the NM Joshi Marg Police Station in Central Mumbai.

Once the case was registered, the police promptly began the investigation. During the course of the investigation, they found Sanghvi’s car in the Kopar Khairane area of Mumbai on September 8, but his current whereabouts are yet to be traced.

The police have said that although they traced Sanghvi’s car, nothing certain can be said about his disappearance.

While some reports have mentioned that there were blood stains found on Sanghvi’s car, the police have said that for now, they are treating the incident as a missing person case and further details would be revealed once the investigations are concluded.
