Bengaluru: A private complaint has been registered against Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy in the people’s representatives special court against his affidavit submitted for the assembly elections of 2018.

The CM had contested from Ramanagara and Chennappattana assembly constituencies in the 2018 assembly elections.

When he submitted his affidavit in both the constituencies, the CM had not furnished details about his second wife actor Radhika Kumaraswamy and their daughter Shamika.

Citizen Forum president Anand has filed a complaint in the special court saying that the CM had hidden details about his marriage in the affidavit given to the Election Commission.

The court would be hearing the case on May 2.
