Horror at Jaipur airport: passenger finds cockroach in bread pakora
A passenger’s meal at Jaipur International Airport took a disturbing turn when he found a cockroach inside his bread pakora, a snack he had purchased for Rs 200. DP Gurjar, traveling through the airport, ordered the bread pakora with tea and, after taking a bite, discovered a small dead cockroach inside. Shocked and disgusted, he immediately shared a video of the contaminated meal on social media and filed a complaint with the airport authorities.
Despite Gurjar’s efforts, the cafe staff dismissed his concerns, and when he approached the airport administration, he received no response. Feeling frustrated and nauseous, he recorded the incident and posted it online, hoping to bring attention to the issue.
This is not the first such incident to make headlines. Earlier in June, a family discovered a dead mouse in a bottle of Hershey’s chocolate syrup. After consuming some of the syrup, they noticed the contamination and tried to lodge a complaint with the company, but received no response. Similarly, a woman in Mumbai found a dead insect in her Burger King burger, sharing her disgust online and expressing her frustration with the lack of accountability.
These incidents highlight ongoing concerns about food safety and the lack of effective responses from companies and institutions when such issues arise. Travelers and consumers are left questioning the hygiene standards of popular eateries and food brands.
