NEW DELHI: A private airline flight heading to Hyderabad with 159 passengers and six crew members made an emergency return to Chennai on Sunday after a technical snag was detected mid-air near Nellore.
Airport officials confirmed that the pilot, upon identifying the issue, immediately coordinated with air traffic control and safely landed the aircraft back in Chennai. All passengers and crew are reported to be safe.
Further inspection is underway to determine the nature of the fault before the aircraft is cleared for service again.
