Hyderabad residents are enjoying sudden showers and cool weather, as unexpected rain swept across the city, offering respite from the rising temperatures. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the city is set for multiple rounds of rain and thunderstorms throughout March 22, with temperatures hovering around 36°C. The rain is expected to continue till March 24, after which misty skies are forecasted.

Popular solo weather forecasters on X confirmed light to heavy spells over northern and western parts of Hyderabad, while rain clouds from Karnataka are moving towards southern areas. Enthusiastic locals flooded social media with photos and videos, celebrating the refreshing change.

Rain is also predicted for key areas like Gachibowli, Kondapur, Miyapur, Hitech City, Begumpet, Tirumalgiri, Secunderabad, and Yousufguda.
Meanwhile, IMD forecasts indicate showers will spread across Telangana, covering districts like Warangal, Hanamkonda, Nizamabad, Medak, Sangareddy, Kamareddy, Mahabubnagar, Adilabad, and Sirsilla until March 24.
