Ghaziabad, October 8, 2025: On the occasion of the 93rd Indian Air Force (IAF) Day, Air Chief Marshal AP Singh lauded Operation Sindoor as a shining example of the IAF’s operational excellence, meticulous planning, disciplined training, and determined execution. He emphasized that the operation not only demonstrated the capability of India’s air power but also highlighted the effectiveness of indigenously developed weapons systems, which delivered precise strikes deep within enemy territory.

Operation Sindoor, launched in May 2025, was a swift retaliatory response following a terror attack in Pahalgam, South Kashmir. The operation involved coordinated strikes across Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir, targeting strategic locations. Air Chief Marshal Singh noted that the operation reaffirmed the IAF’s readiness and operational capability, showcasing the force’s ability to achieve strategic objectives in a short timeframe with minimal collateral impact.

He also highlighted the role of advanced training programs, technological integration, and disciplined execution that enabled officers and personnel to carry out complex missions efficiently.
