New Delhi: The number of the novel coronavirus cases in India reached 1,51,767, on Wednesday morning with 6,387 new infections reported in the last 24 hours.
With 170 more fatalities in 24 hours, the death toll rose to 4,337, according to the Union Health Ministry.
The country has 83,004 active cases, while 64,425 have recovered/ discharged.
On Wednesday, Maharashtra has the highest number of Covid-19 cases with 54,758. Tamil Nadu has 17,728 cases with Gujarat at 14,821 cases. Delhi reported 14,465 cases of coronavirus.
India on Tuesday recorded 6,535 new coronavirus cases. The total number of coronavirus cases in India stood at 1,45,380 with 4,167 deaths on Tuesday.
