In a powerful display of coordinated defense strategy, the Indian Armed Forces launched ‘Operation Sindoor on Wednesday, executing precision strikes on nine terrorist bases across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). The Ministry of Defence confirmed the tri-service operation, which targeted high-value locations tied to Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT)—groups behind deadly terror attacks in India, including the recent Pahalgam assault.

The strikes focused on four sites in Pakistan, notably Bahawalpur, Muridke, and Sialkot, and five in PoK. The operation, involving the Army, Navy, and Air Force, used precision-guided munitions to dismantle terror infrastructure used to orchestrate cross-border attacks.

Several videos surfaced on social media, revealing massive fireballs, thick smoke, and distant explosions. One dashboard camera video showed secondary blasts near police checkpoints, highlighting the strike’s intensity. Crowds of civilians were seen on streets in affected areas, pointing to the far-reaching impact.

According to defense sources cited by ANI, the strike was preceded by meticulous troop and asset mobilization across all military branches. The goal: neutralize terror operatives and dismantle their operational hubs before further harm could be done to Indian civilians and forces.

This bold move sends a strong message about India’s commitment to defending its sovereignty and eliminating terror threats at their root.
