Payal Kapadia’s All We Imagine as Light has gained significant global recognition, securing the title of Best Non-English Film from the Los Angeles Film Critics Association (LAFCA). In parallel, Sandhya Suri’s Santosh achieved major success at the British Independent Film Awards 2024. The police procedural thriller, which explores corruption and resilience, earned two major awards—Best Screenplay for Suri and Breakthrough Producer for Balthazar de Ganay and James Bowsher. Additionally, Santosh was nominated for Best British Independent Film and Best Breakthrough Screenwriter.

Santosh, starring Shahana Goswami, delves into the life of a widow confronting police corruption. It premiered in the Un Certain Regard section at the Cannes Film Festival 2024 and has been featured at prominent film festivals, including Telluride and Toronto. The film has been selected as the United Kingdom’s official submission for Best International Feature at the Oscars 2024.
